Current Openings

Part-Time Instructor for Chinese for Kids Program. Instructors needed to teach Chinese at elementary and middle schools as part of the after-school program. Classes are scheduled one day a week for 1.5 hours per session, for 10 weeks between 3pm-5pm. Desired experience: minimum 1 year in teaching Chinese as a second language and experience in teaching to children.

Cultural Diversity Trainers. Looking for trainers with experience in developing and facilitating Cultural Diversity programs across a broad range of topics including managing across cultures, cultural awareness, intercultural awareness, and doing business in other countries.

Part-Time ESOL Instructor. Instructors needed to teach our ESOL courses at the Sand Lake Center (2411 Sand Lake Road) and West Campus (1800 S. Kirkman Rd.). Classes are scheduled either in the evenings from 6:30pm-8:30pm (MW or TR), in the mornings from 9:00am-11:00am (MW or TR), or Saturdays from 8:30am-12:30pm. At least two years experience and a 4-year college degree required.

Intensive English Program Instructor- 16 hours per week. Instructors needed to teach in our Intensive English Program located at the Sand Lake Center (2411 Sand Lake Road). Hours are Monday – Friday, from 8:30am-12:30pm. At least two years experience and a 4-year college degree required.

Joining the CGL Team of Trainers

In order to apply for a teaching position with the Center for Global Languages, you must have the following:

Native-like fluency and pronunciation in the target language.

Previous experience teaching English to speakers of other languages (ESL, ESOL, EFL), or Spanish to English-speakers.

Availability to teach at least two classes per week for any of the following schedules:

Monday/Wednesday 6:30pm-8:30pm
Tuesday/Thursday 6:30pm-8:30pm
Saturday 8:30am-12:30pm
Saturday 1:00pm-5:00pm
Monday-Thursday 9:00am-1:00pm (Intensive English Program only)
Flexible daytime schedules for corporate contracts

Availability to teach at one of the following Valencia campuses: Criminal Justice Institute, Osceola Campus, Sand Lake Center, West Campus, or Winter Park Campus

Desire to teach in a part-time position, starting with 4 hours per week.
