The Center for Global Languages offers a variety of programs and courses in English, Spanish, American Sign Language and Cultural Diversity. Industry-Specific English and Spanish Courses are also offered to teach the essentials of the language as is needed for different industries.
These intensive programs are led by experienced, native-speaking instructors who have previous second*language teaching knowledge and must participate in Center for Global Languages' on-going professional development program designed for language instructors. Courses are available through on-site, customized curriculums for corporate training, as well as open enrollment, 8 week courses of 2 to 4 hours per week (Evenings and Saturdays).
Our classes have a student-centered approach with a class size of 15 students or less. Each course emphasizes communication in real-world contexts and practices all four language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Measurable results are monitored with standardized testing. Six levels of Conversational English and Spanish courses allow for quick adjustment to the difficulty of the course based on the student's experience.
