Learning Scenarios offers web-based professional development courses to faculty, staff and administrators within educational institutions across North America. Learning Scenarios courses encourage self and group reflection on the principles and practices of good teaching. We provide the tools, resources and expert guidance to improve the quality of teaching in an ever changing educational landscape through case studies and problem based learning.

Teaching for Learning is the Learning Scenarios foundational course and is designed for new and adjunct faculty with strong content expertise but limited instructional professional development experience. Utilizing expert guidance, case studies and problem-based learning, participants acquire the skills and resources that assist them in improving student learning. Course topics range from creating a learning-centered syllabus and classroom assessment techniques to balancing life and work.

All courses are facilitated, collaborative and utilize the Scenarios software from WisdomTools, Inc. and Indiana University.
